The Postpartum Den is part of the VA Community Care Network. Accessing our specialized perinatal mental health services starts with a referral — and this page is designed to make that step easy for VA maternal care coordinators and for Veterans referring themselves.
Appropriate clinical referrals
- Pregnant or postpartum Veterans struggling with depression or anxiety
- Veterans with intrusive thoughts, panic, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty functioning
- Veterans with PTSD, MST, trauma histories, or prior mental health conditions worsened during the perinatal period
- Mothers needing more clinical support than weekly therapy

- Babies are welcome. Private breastfeeding spaces and mom/baby essentials on site.
